<image:title>Inspiration - Before May 2020 - After January 2021</image:title>
<image:caption>My personal testimonial…Before pictures are scary - especially when you go glamour free - but they tell an important story worth celebrating! I did not know my face was so asymmetrical - my whole life I have had a smirk. After starting my face yoga journey, I learned repetitive habits & tightness were a huge part of my “look”. The tightness in the left side caused the muscles to be weaker - leaving me with a deep nasolabial line, but also a drooping cheek causing another line by my mouth - yikes. Months later, I am happy to report the drooping in my cheek is gone; my lines smoothed; my eyes bigger & more open; overall more symmetrical face. My journey has only begun…</image:caption>

<image:title>Hello, My Name is Kayla - About Me…</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Kayla Smothermon, born in 1984. I am a certified Face Yoga Method teacher, trained by Fumiko Takatsu and have a 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training from the Yoga & Ayurveda Center. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my chihuahua, Paco. Since 2007, I have been the Clinic Coordinator at a well-known acupuncture clinic, gaining valuable knowledge about health, wellness & acupressure from a respected acupuncturist in the area. I believe in simple and affordable beauty using natural methods, and I love sharing my beauty tips. My yoga style is unique, often following a hatha flow, focusing on balancing body & beauty. My classes include “beauty blended” flows and all savasanas start with a relaxing face yoga pose. My goal is to build confidence & strength, especially for beginners. I am grateful to do what I love—bringing balance to beauty! Namaste.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - What is Face Yoga?</image:title>
<image:caption>· Face yoga is a fun and holistic way to enhance beauty and slow signs of aging. It is an exercise that helps balance our facial features, smooths lines, tones facial muscles, reduces puffiness and brightens skin. · While we regularly work out our bodies to look better, we often neglect our facial muscles, relying on temporary solutions like creams and costly treatments. · Face yoga is simple to add to your daily beauty routine and provides lasting results without side effects. It combines yoga-like poses and breathing with playful facial expressions. This practice increases awareness of your facial movements, helps break habits that lead to wrinkles and trains the small muscles of the face for better control.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Breathing + Silly Faces = Face Yoga</image:title>
<image:caption>· Everything in the body is connected. Tension can trap toxins, leading to deeper lines and unevenness on our face. · Face yoga helps connect the mind and body; by making funny faces and practicing specific breathing and positions, we relax and tone our facial muscles. · Deep, mindful breathing relaxes and improves blood flow. Better circulation delivers more oxygen and nutrients to the skin, speeding up cell renewal. Facial expressions help send these nutrients to the face, resulting in softer, radiant skin.</image:caption>
